Why We Give
At Lakeside, we believe that we serve a generous God. Part of worshipping him and following him with everything we have is being generous with what he has given us. (1 Chronicles 29:14) You can’t outgive God.
We believe that tithing (giving 10% of what we earn) back to God is the training wheels of generosity. It’s a practical discipline that helps us remain focused on God and serving him rather than our money. It’s the mechanism that God often uses to bless us as we live generously. (Malachi 3:10)
At Lakeside, we don’t want something from you, we want something for you. Living in generosity is the mark of a follower of Jesus and God has promised to bless those who do. Don’t miss out on that blessing!
